Wind was dropping and not enough so dropped kite onto sand. After 10 minutes it climbed until at times I was fully depowered in more than forecast. Felt warm when sun came out but cooled down as I lost board a couple of times and went ashore to wait for it to be washed in as coudl not make headway in onshore wind and waves. Good fun and turns sllowly improving. Four others out.
